Some instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring anything you play or just yourself! This group will include opportunities to sing together, play instruments, share and listen to songs, and just have fun making music with other folks in the community. Led by Ann Arbor based Music Therapist Mel Clark (they/them), "Groove is in the Heart" is a place to find joy in music and community.

QueerDeathCafe.png

Queer Death Cafe

Queer Death Cafe is a monthly gathering offering LGBTQIA+ folks an inclusive space to talk openly about death,  dying and everything in between.

It is not a therapy group or grief support circle, but an open, agenda-free conversation where participants are invited to share thoughts, questions, fears and stories in a welcoming environment. Whether you're facing a loss, planning ahead, or simply drawn to explore death as part of a fuller life,  you're welcome here. Light refreshments are provided and all are encouraged to bring an open heart and an open mind.
