Since reopening its doors, the Jim Toy Community Center has quickly become a vibrant hub of connection, healing, and celebration for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies across Washtenaw County. With more than 15 active peer support groups, social meetups, and community programs now using the space, the momentum is only growing—and we’re just getting started.

The Center is available for monthly, biweekly, weekly, or as-needed reservations, giving groups the flexibility to meet in a way that best supports their members. Whether you're hosting a peer support group, a creative workshop, or a casual hangout, our space is designed to help you build meaningful connections.

We’ve equipped the Center with Wi-Fi, TV monitors, and a kitchenette, so you can meet comfortably and create an environment that fits your group’s vibe. A shared message board highlights active groups, resources, and events—making it easy to cross-promote and support one another.

As we grow, we’re always listening. Have an idea for a program, support group, or event? We’d love to hear from you!

Whether you’re looking to lead something new or simply share a need you’ve noticed, we want to make space for it.
