For decades, Kerrytown's Braun Court has been a safe haven for Ann Arbor's LGBTQ community, housing a gay bar and restaurant, the Jim Toy Community Center and an LGBT bookstore...With the courtyard's future uncertain, supporters gathered at a farewell party for Common Language Bookstore on Saturday, Dec. 15, to thank Orr and Contreras for their contributions to the community.

LezRead Book Club Fosters Friendship through Queer Literature

The Jim Toy Community Center’s Lesbian Book Club LezRead provides more than just an opportunity to read and discuss queer literature.
